Fantasy Golf: Shell Houston Open 2014

fantasy golf 2014 shell houstonWe are only one week away from The Masters, so that means the PGA Tour returns to the Golf Club of Houston to play this week's 2014 Shell Houston Open. A lot of big names are in the tournament field as many are using this Tour stop as their tune-up for Augusta. Matt Kuchar has been on a tear lately, amassing three top-10 finishes in his six starts so far this season. Last year's FedExCup winner Henrik Stenson has gotten off to a slow start in 2014, but that doesn't mean he can't turn his game around just in time for the year's first major.

Jordan Spieth also has three top-10's in his eight starts, making him one of the best fantasy golf picks this week in Houston. Keegan Bradley has been hovering around the winner's circle all year and it will only be a matter of time before he pulls through in a tournament.

Sergio Garcia and Charl Schwartzel won't win this week, but I'm betting both display strong tournaments as they prepare for their respective Green Jacket bids.
