Imperial Headwear introduces new Tailgate Collection
Imperial Headwear breaks into the collegiate sports arena with their brand new Tailgate Collection designs. Here is our first-hand look.
Imperial Headwear is proud to announce their new Tailgate Collection in time for the 2015 collegiate football season. Comprised of unique logo designs for 15 popular university cities, Imperial enters the collegiate sports arena with a fresh new look. The states included in the collection are: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Each hat features the state outline with a defining characteristic of each state.
The Tailgate Collection styles include preppy cotton hats, as well as Imperial’s signature Tour Visors and Oxford Bucket hats. Most of the designs are in a relaxed, worn style that are extremely comfortable when worn and look great while you're supporting your team on or off the course.
While it is true the collection offers a limited number of collegiate states -- plus the lack of a NCAA license, which means no "official" team names -- Imperial hopes to add more state options soon.
At the risk of sounding too cliche', I can safely say that the Imperial hat I reviewed is one of the best-fitting hats I've ever worn. The low-profile relaxed fit is definitely my preference, especially in an era of flat-brim hats, trucker-style faces and snapback adjustability. These are no-nonsense, extremely well-made hats that you'll absolutely love to have in your collection.
