REVIEW: Frogger Function f(x) Golf Bag

Frogger Golf has quickly become a leader in the golf accessory market, making award-winning club brushes, golf towels and other products found in many players' bags. The new Frogger Function f(x) golf bag is the company's first dabble into the stand bag market, and it's a valiant one at that. I get a good amount of golf products sent to me to review on this site, either after reaching out directly to a company's PR contact or by other means. However, believe me when I say that I had no idea I was receiving this bag to review. None. Zilch. Nada. It was a complete surprise.

After testing out the new Frogger Function f(x) bag at a recent driving range session, I can honestly say I owe my secret admirer a ton of gratitude. This is a fantastic golf bag.

While the Frogger Function f(x) isn't the lightest stand bag in the world, it certainly makes up for that minor shortcoming with all of its great features and compartments. The main draw is Frogger's patented Catch Latch -- a truly unique accessory system that helps you keep all your other Frogger brushes, towels, and gadgets organized and at-the-ready during your round.

The Frogger Function f(x) also offers 6-way club management slots to minimize iron chatter, a waterproof Dry Pocket for valuables, a water bottle pocket, rain hood, dual-shoulder straps and a convenient handle to help with loading and unloading the bag from your car trunk.

Last year I switched to a cart bag due to the fact most of my playing partners ride in carts when we play. After getting a feel for this new offering from Frogger, however, I can definitely see myself hoofing it more often come spring.

The Frogger Function f(x) golf bag is currently available for pre-order only at the generous price of $179.95 via their website, www.froggergolf.com.
