Through Touch Golf Glove Review: A Game Changer for Tech-Savvy Golfers?

In today's tech-driven world, golfers are increasingly finding themselves reaching for their smartphones between shots to track performance, utilize GPS apps, or capture a memorable hole-in-one. However, removing and replacing a glove can disrupt rhythm and flow. Enter the Voraus Through Touch Golf Glove, a product that promises seamless smartphone interaction without sacrificing comfort or performance.

The Through Touch golf glove by Voraus Golf allows you to operate your smartphone without removing the glove.

If you’re like me you take off your golf glove in between shots.

For me, I do it for a number of reasons. For starters, I live in South Florida so taking my glove off after each shot keeps it as dry as possible both inside and out.

I also take it off in between shots so I can use my phone. Anyone who has used their phone with a traditional golf glove on knows it can be quite the challenge. Now some of you may be saying, “Well why use your phone at all while you are on the course just enjoy being out there?” While this is true, to that I say A) it’s 2024, good luck not using your phone, and B) I can enjoy a day on the course and still be on my phone.

"EXPERIENCE GOLF THROUGH TOUCH! The first of its kind, the Through Touch golf glove allows golfers to seamlessly use their smartphones while wearing their glove. Made with 100% of the highest quality cabretta leather and designed by a team of golfers we insure you that you are buying the best glove on the market!" — Voraus Golf website description.

Now while I do use my phone on the course for all your standard reasons (respond to texts or emails, listen to music sometimes, etc.) I also use it to get my yardages when I am playing on a course that doesn’t have GPS on their carts. I don’t have a traditional rangefinder, instead opting for apps on my phone to give me my yardages.

When I learned about a company out there that is making golf gloves designed to be left on while using your phone… you could imagine my excitement.

Well, let me tell you the folks at Voraus Golf did NOT disappoint. When I first put on the glove I noticed these black patches on the thumb and first finger, which they call Through Touch Conductive Material, designed specifically to make using and scrolling through your phone easy. The classic design and fit of the glove itself made it feel like I was throwing on my standard, already broken-in glove and not a new one fresh out of a box.

The note inside the box also caught my eye: “Don’t neglect your phone while you’re golfing, play some music, take some photos, and enjoy the ‘Modern Glove for the Modern Golfer,” and that’s exactly what I did.

As I mentioned above, living in South Florida taking my glove off in between shots is about more than being able to use my phone, it’s also about keeping the glove as dry as possible in the South Florida heat. Well, the folks at Voraus Golf took that part into account too.

The glove features Lycra Mesh and an interior wrist sweatband that is designed to provide ventilation and moisture resistance even when leaving the glove on for longer periods of time.

Value and Recommendation: A Worthy Investment for Tech-Savvy Golfers?

The Voraus Through Touch Golf Glove is priced competitively within the premium golf glove market, typically ranging between $17.95 and $24.99. Considering the glove's quality materials, smartphone compatibility, and overall performance, we believe it offers good value for golfers who prioritize seamless integration of technology into their game.

Whether the Through Touch is the right choice for you depends on your individual needs and preferences. If you're a golfer who frequently uses your smartphone on the course and values a glove that combines comfort, performance, and technological innovation, then the Voraus Through Touch is definitely worth considering.
